ELLIOT LANDRAKE
(Main Male Character)
First Appearance in the Book:
“You are all ruining the energy — get your asses at work; I don’t want to repeat everything!” Elliot exclaimed, the blood dripping from the chalice in his hands were leaving new stains on the straw floor.
Witch Abilities:
• commanding nature
• preparing healing potions
• Calling Hell-born creatures
These were the times that Elliot wished witchcraft was as simple as most people thought. He hated how some myths or books had shown witchcraft, like a never ending magical power flowing through someone when it was actually something that requires so much preparation and patience.
He used each drop of the potion on the stakes to fill the fire with the amber colored liquid. Amidst the chaos going around the whole place, he cleansed his mind. And the spell unfolded within. The smell of pine needles rose to the air, the flames lost their brightness with the gold wave of particles forming on Elliot’s palms.
Physical Appearance:
When he was slowly picking up the tray from the floor, Melody couldn’t help but acknowledge how good-looking he was. His grayish-blue eyes looked exactly like two little frozen lakes, yet hot enough to melt everyone under his stare. His soft golden hair was falling on his eyes, and his black sweater was covering his broad shoulders...
His deep voice suited his appearance. Their eyes locked for the first time and stayed like that. She let him hold his gaze for a moment, and then realized quickly that he was absorbing every detail of her face. The ghost of a strange evaluation loomed in the middle of his brows. His eyes were deep-set and intense, definitely difficult to read. An unexpected restlessness followed her senses when she realized she could feel his sandalwood scent silencing all the other things in the crowded teahouse.
Quote:
“These were the reasons I always preferred to be in nature; while looking for more flowers or herbs in the distant meadows, I would always forget what magick used to feel like. Without chaos, innocent bloods, or the darkness in the back of my mind. I didn’t realize that I was also escaping from myself when running to the forests.” His eyes locked into hers, all the sharp angles of him softened under the warm candlelights. Even the jagged red scar in the right side of his face was not making him lose any of the vulnerability in his eyes at that moment. “But I don’t have to run away anymore; because you created flowers, suns, forests, anything that gives me peace, right there, inside me.”
